Who We Are
Central Heating Advice Service was created in 2014 to give the best advice, solutions and services to residents and businesses in the Newbury and Thatcham area of West Berkshire.
John McMillan (the Managing Director and Founder) has an MBA and was an area service manager with British Gas (where he worked for 10 years). He was also Service Director with another large heating related company before founding CHAS.
Tracey McMillan is the Customer Services Director and makes sure that we satisfy and delight our customers with quality solutions and services.
Ben Holden is an Adult Trainee (our training programme supports the local community) with us. Before settling down in west Berkshire he travelled extensively and developed excellent customer service skills.
Kyle Duncan is a fully qualified heating engineer with over 10 years experience at British Gas.
Darren has 2 years experience as a plumber and has retrained after extensive experience in another service industry. We are sponsoring him to get his gas ACS qualifications.

If you have a problem with your central heating system just call us and we’ll investigate and advise you. If you don’t want us to fix it then we won’t charge for a call out. You only pay for the work we do and there are no call out charges. From us, advice is free.
